Random thoughts…so I went to a speaker yesterday who spoke strongly about Taiwanese politics and I was kind of put off. I don’t know whether it was the heat of the room, or just because I was tired of hearing these things, or just because I don’t have the same passion and energy as he does about doing this for Taiwan, doing that for Taiwan, but I just felt that he was screaming and preaching to me the entire time.    I enjoy the cultural aspect, instilling a sense of identity in the young generation, and all of that feel good stuff, but I don’t think I’m a fan of these activism groups. Why can’t we all just get along? Am I naive or wrong to think that way? What do these feelings mean? I wish I could express my thoughts more eloquently.
